We are a Maine state licensed auto recycler and will buy your junk cars, trucks, any type of metal equipment in the central & midcoast Maine area. We will pay for complete small car (includes motor, tranny). If not entire car, we will still pay, call us and we'll talk. We will accept all types of metal, including white goods (small fee for refrigerated items), motors, transmissions, and any types of scrap metal. We will clean it out of your yard for you (metal only - no trash). We will also accept batteries and can take used oil and gas off your hands. We will accept tires with rims for free and rimless tires for $5 each.
There are many unlicensed people out there illegally dismantling and scrapping vehicles, so make sure that whoever you're having haul away your junk is really licensed to do it. Under the law, we must conform to all state and federal regulations with regard to removal of fluids and mercury while many of the illegal "junkyards" are just dumping it into the ground.

Did you know....
That there are many people out there with tow trucks towing YOUR CAR that are not insured to do so? How can you tell the difference? Here are a couple of ways:
- Make sure the trucks are registered commercially. That means that their license plate will have the entire word "Commercial" printed on them.
Note that just because they say "Commercial" does NOT mean they are fully covered. ALSO ASK FOR:
- Ask them to provide evidence of their "On Hook" insurance coverage. In order to obtain on hook coverage for vehicles being towed for hire, you must register the vehicle and pay additional insurance costs. This is why a lot of companies try to avoid the extra insurance. It is expensive but it is a necessary cost of doing business legally and safely. The difference is that YOUR CAR IS NOT COVERED while it is being towed if there is any type of accident or incident. If your car should be damaged in transit or dropped off the truck by accident the damages are NOT COVERED and you will take the loss.
