Open from dawn to dusk, the Belfast Dog Park is at Walsh Field, on
Lincolnville Avenue (aka Route 52) just off Route 1, next to the real estate office of
Jaret and Cohn. Across the road from the Rt. 52 entry to Athena Health and before the YMCA and Middle School. It is free and open to the public.

"THE" place to take your doggie to run free, see and be seen, sniff and be sniffed, and meet all the other dog owners in Belfast.

The dog park was created by Friends of Belfast Parks and members of the community as a gift to the city, its dog owners, and their dogs. In September 2007, the Belfast City Council approved the location of an offleash dog park at Walsh Field, and in August 2008 the park opened-one of more than 700 off-leash recreation areas in the country.
