Maine Public Broadcasting Network radio and TV
There's NPR and then there's MPBN. Maine has public television and a lot of public radio station frequencies. Belfast is in between 90.1 and 90.9 so twist that dial around a bit. Maine Public Broadcasting Network has a central web site for both TV and radio and this is it. All your favorite national and great local programming: it's worth listening and looking.

Become a volunteer at Maine Public Broadcasting Network during our March Television Membership Drive, from Sunday, March 2nd through Saturday, March 15th. The drive will feature an eclectic offering of programming (everything from the BBC News to an Alfred Hitchcock movie). Volunteer now and be part of this special event! Volunteers are needed to answer phone calls from contributors who support MPBN"s programming. If you sign up, you will receive a confirmation of your assignment.

Food and drink will be provided courtesy of Burger King, Family Dollar, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Miguel's Mexican Restaurant, and Sea Dog Brewing Company (all of Bangor).

Please share this information with your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors, as we invite them to join us as well. If you have any questions, feel free to call our Volunteer Coordinator, Denis Howard, at 941-1010 extension 3099 or send an e-mail message to him at dhoward@mpbn.net
