Since 2003, Indigo Gallery has featured photographic art by Maine native Charles Laurier Dufour (see directory listing under “Artists”). You’ll find traditional landscapes and seascapes, natural nudes, and studio photography as well.
Over a hundred matted and framed photographs grace the walls of Indigo Gallery. The exhibited framed photographs range in size from 8x10 inches through 22x28 inches. There’s art for anyone’s budget, with hundreds of additional original photographs in simple white mats ranging in size from 8x10 through 16x20. All matting and framing is on premises.
Indigo Gallery participates in Belfast’s Friday Art Walk, hosting artist receptions at least monthly from June through December, and periodically between January and May. Celebrating its fifth anniversary season, various themed openings are planned for rotation every three weeks from July 4th through September 5th.

June 6 to July 2 - Ft. Knox (Nudes shot at Ft. Knox State Park. Small works only.)
July 4 to July 23 - Indoor Works (Pieces shot inside, studio or otherwise. Variety of sizes.)
July 25 to August 13 - Belfast Exposed! (Nudes shot in Belfast, ME. Variety of sizes.)
August 15 to September 3 - Curves and Angles (Geometry and Nudes. Variety of sizes.)
August 29 - 5th Anniversary Celebration. Fun for everyone!
September 5 to September 30 - Summer Review 2008 (Pot pourri of shots from the summer. Variety of sizes.)
