The Belfast Historical Society Museum opens for the season on Saturday, June 21. Hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Located at 10 Market Street, corner of Church and Market.The Museum is considered to be one of the best small history museums in the mid-coast. Exhibits include a Maritime History room, Notable Women of Belfast, Percy Sanborn painting gallery and Made in Belfast. Did you know the Yankee Screwdriver was invented and manufactured in Belfast? New exhibits are Steamboats on the Penobscot, Arts and Entertainment, and The USS Belfast.
