Skip the Chips
This is the blog of Peggy Shea Andrews. I'm happiest with a mudroom filled with wintery things. Making things makes me happy. I also love games and puzzles, and purposely have not learned how to play bridge, so that I will have something deliciously fun to learn in my golden years. I live in, and love, Belfast, Maine.

The Recipe Weekly
Virginia Wright is a four-time author & illustrator-- she was born and raised in Belfast, Maine. After marrying, she moved from Belfast. But when her husband’s retirement from the USN came about, the family moved back to the area; and she is now living just 25 minutes away in...Bucksport.
Virginia is also a foodie, queen of recipe adaptation, & a good old-fashioned cook. For ten years she was senior editor of Lowfat Weekly, a popular recipe and health information website, which she founded. But with restraints on recipe development and doing mostly only "Low Fat" recipes...it lead to the reason The Recipe Weekly was born. On “The Recipe Weekly” you will find various types of recipes-- yes, there will be some Lowfat recipes, but there will also be Low Carb, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Seafood, and mostly good Old-Fashioned recipes, heirloom recipes that your mama used to make and her mama used to make-- that will surely delight! You will also find Quick and Easy Meals, Cooking Tips and Tricks, Articles, Book Giveaways and More…
