OneWomanStudio was founded in 2002 by local independent artist/designer, Julia Ventresco.
Using primarily recycled, repurposed and found materials, I create usable, wearable, and enjoyable art, accessories and other fun stuff in my tiny one-woman-studio in the Maine woods.
Items include: tote bags and purses made from recycled and repurposed grain bags and tarps, one-of-a-kind aprons made from repurposed clothing and trimmings, stationery, hats, wall sculptures and collages... the list goes on and on- limited only by my overactive imagination and what cool new 'junk' I find to work with!
