Coastal Mountains Land Trust is a non-profit organization that has been working since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of western Penobscot Bay. We have protected more than 7,800 acres, protecting forever our area's natural resources, wildlife habitat, scenic beauty, and public outdoor recreation access. In the Belfast area we have been working to create the Passagassawakeag Greenway, a system of trails that allows people to enjoy several undeveloped, forested areas along the upper "Passy."
