Just a mile or two east of Belfast on Route One is one of the sweetest little State Parks in Maine. Always easy to get into, great trails, great views of Penobscot Bay, always a good sunset location, lovingly maintained, a big gazebo for renting for family or friends with cooking facilities, good rest rooms, a kids play area, lots of picnic tables well spread out, and a lot of people's favorite dog walking paradise.
